Help young children make smart choices with positive consequences! This year on October 26th and 27th, KidDomain (Midland Children's Museum) is thrilled to host a special fundraiser, an American Girl Fashion Show®!
The American Girl Fashion Show® is a fun-filled event for girls and their families, friends, and favorite dolls! Celebrate the experience of being a girl, whether yesterday or today, through a colorful presentation of historical and contemporary fashions.
We are working in partnership with our sponsors, Mu Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Midland Center for the Arts. American Girl Fashion Shows have raised millions for children's charities nationwide. KidDomain's goal is to raise funds to support the "Emerging Young Leaders", and "Juvenile Asthma Management and Education" initiatives of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and Midland Center for the Arts: "Art from the Heart Scholarship Fund".
If we are successful, children ages 0-12 will be able to learn skills to improve their health, leadership development, civic engagement, enhanced academic preparation and character building; and have access to the transformative power of arts and culture. In order to reach these critical goals, we need your help.
